By car from Central London
Take the A2 (signposted Channel Tunnel / Dover) through Blackheath and across the A102(M) roundabout. After about a mile you will see the Tower on the right hand side of the road. At the set of traffic lights, just before the tower, turn right into Bell Street
By car from South Circular
Follow the South Circular (A205) to the intersection with the A207. Turn towards Blackheath and at the first lights turn left into Bell Street
By car from Channel Tunnel
Take the M20 to London/Ashford for 50 miles. Continue on A20 (signs for A20/Lewisham/London) for 8 miles. Turn right at A208/Court Rd and follow A208 for 1.5 miles. Turn right at roundabout onto Well Hall Rd (A205). After 0.8 miles turn left at A207/Shooters Hill Rd then first left at traffic lights into Bell Street
From City Airport via Public Transport
Take the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) to Woolwich Arsenal (2 stops, takes 5 minutes). Get a taxi from the station (1.5 miles) or a bus. There are several buses you can catch – see which one’s coming first. You shouldn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes · 161 from bus stop J (every 5-10 minutes, takes 15 minutes, ask to be dropped off at Brook Village) · 178 from bus stop G (every 10 minutes, takes 20 minutes, ask to be dropped off at Brook Village)
From Central London via public transport
Take an overground train from London Charing Cross, Victoria or London Bridge station to Blackheath (20-30 mins).
Come out of the station and catch a bus to Queen Elizabeth hospital. You will be able to see the Tower.
The last minute
After reaching Bell Street,?take the first left into Edith Cavell Way. You can park in the
lay-by in front of the Tower or you can reach the secure parking behind the Tower by driving to the gate you will see ahead, entering the code to open the gates, taking the first left, then left again. You will see the entrance gates on your left.
